Read-only profile fields can now stay locked from first view

Admins can now create profile questions that members can see but never edit, including on their first interaction with the field. This supports showing system-managed information like products used or assigned account contacts while still allowing updates through the API.

Bot protection added to sign-up, login, and guest checkout flows

Cloudflare Turnstile CAPTCHA has been added to key authentication flows, including sign-up, login, email-based login, login widgets, event registration iframes, guest checkout, and account creation. In most cases this runs invisibly, but suspicious traffic may be challenged before an account is created or a magic link is sent.

Club images can now be shown without the default dark overlay

Admins can now turn off the black mask used on club cover images and club banner images. This gives more control over how chapter and interest group imagery appears across card, medium, and large views.

Content editor now supports font weight options

The content editor now includes font weight controls, giving admins more flexibility over text styling when creating content.

Community domains now publish a standard security.txt file

Tenant domains now expose a RFC 9116-compliant security.txt file at /.well-known/security.txt, making it easier for security researchers and customer security teams to find Gradual's vulnerability reporting process and security contact details.

Search now includes an Ask AI entry point when AI Knowledge is enabled

For communities with AI Knowledge enabled and visible, the global search box now includes an Ask AI option. Members can open the AI experience directly or submit the text they've entered as an AI query, with updated behavior for both desktop and mobile search.
